What Members Thought
Rarely have I read a book I disliked more. If I hadn't been reading this for a challenge I probably would have given up, but then I would always have thought maybe there was something in it that I missed. Now I know there was not. There were a few things that spoke to me - the dollar shops, where things could be bought that were beyond the dreams of the average person - because I was briefly in Poland and Russia while they were communist and experienced that. Otherwise I hated it.
