Love this book! Boy does author, Ernest Cline know his 80's subculture and video games...awesome and I don't even play video games...but I was totally immersed in the story! I learned so much about, well, everything 80's!

I heard about this last November and it sounded like my kind of book: 80s pop-culture and videogames! I am not as geeky as the characters in the book, but I have logged many hours in WOW and FF and I was in an ATARI club in middle school.

Great fun! Sci fi mixed with nostalgia. Recommended to anyone who grew up in the 80s.
