It was such a pleasure to revisit the characters from the novel "Brooklyn" in Colm Toibin's sequel "Long Island." Twenty years have passed, and Eilis, Tony, and their two children are living in suburban Long Island. Tony's parents, and the families of his two brothers also live in the four home cul-de-sac.
