A nearly perfect book. It's quite hard to review this short book with its chapter-long vignettes of rambling about between a grandmother and her young (maybe six years old?) granddaughter. The perspective of the book shifts fluidly between the grandmother and the granddaughter as they meander about building magical cities, fishing in ponds, going to the beach, and watching father do his unspecified work. 5.0/5.0 - The best thing about doing reading challenges is when they push me outside of my reading comfort zone, and I discover treasures like this book. The writing was beautiful, it had simple black and white illustrations, and it would be a great book club choice.
