What Members Thought
As a coming of age story - five stars. I liked the main character. I liked the way that she developed over time. I liked her observations of how people interact. And I understand that framing her as an alien allowed her to have distance from experiences to be an observer.
But I might have liked it more if the main character merely believed she was an alien instead of her really being an alien. I didn't feel like the alien interaction part of the book was developed in a way that worked as science ...more
