- The Dragon tales (you know, the princesses being taken by dragons and kept for some or other sort of nefarious or not exacyly nefarious purposes)

10 Stars is not enough for how I love this book. Rereading 2025.
I LOVE THIS BOOK. It's a classic and has the feel of a childhood classic. The ending always makes me grin. OH, I love the Dragon.

REREADING
Still a favorite. Enough plot for more than one book. Laughing. But I just loved it. I love the mythmaking in it. Every time I reread this book, I feel joy. JOY.

So remember that time I read Crimson Bound and absolutely hated it? This was pretty much the exact same book but with a prettier cover. Okay, maybe not the exact same book but a lot of it was very similar and I ended up disliking this one almost as much.

What an amazingly unique, deep, magical, beautifully written book! The World building is so thorough that I wanted to submerse myself in it every chance I got.

ÌIts hard to say what I thought of this book which is why I'm not giving it a clear rating. First of all I read this book through many months because I was reading it on my phone through an online library and I'm not quite settled into the rhythm of that.
I did like some elements and disliked others, I absolutely loved the last few chapters so I have no doubt about Noviks skill as a writer but I think a lot of elements in this particular book weren't for me per say.
