Alltså... Jag är lite osäker på vad jag ska tycka om den här boken. Inledningsvis blev jag mycket förtjust. Jag gillade huvudpersonen, storyn, det kvinnliga perspektivet och själva berättandet. Jag upprördes, gladdes och ville bara fortsätta läsa. Men sen kom där plötsligt in sidospår som förtog lite av allvaret. Det som kunde bli så bra blev emellanåt lite tramsigt. Men sen kom svängde berättelsen igen och jag drogs in i den.

I really enjoyed this book. It was quirky, unexpected, over the top, random, funny, serious, weird, relatable but not in an obvious way… There was a lot to this book. I could see the potential of delving into the themes and forming negative opinions of the book. However if you read it for entertainment and enjoyment, I thought it hit the mark. I was thoroughly entertained!

Such an unexpected, delightful book. It's unusual to finish a book and want to read it again, but that's the case with Lessons in Chemistry. Loved Elizabeth, Mad and Thirty-six (the dog). Very entertaining and enlightening read.
