This was a quick, not-entirely-breezy read that starts with a bang and ends...in a way that pleasantly surprised me for not trying too hard to end on a too-pat note. There are a few plot points that struck me as too coincidental, more than a few lines that clunked, but for the most part I liked the complexity of the fraught relationships between well-meaning people who struggle to communicate.
