This far exceeded my expectations. It just might be the best book I read all year. Those who read reviews here at Goodreads - especially mine - are bound to be avid readers. This is a book about the benefits of reading. What's not to like?

When Nina Sankovitch's beloved sister died, Nina embarked on a year of reading a book a day as therapy. Nina had felt guilty that she was still living, but Anne-Marie had died. Books taught her many lessons such as finding moments of beauty, and to stop running to make up for what her sister had lost.
