This is a revelation for me! How to understand Justice Thomas’s seemingly strange Supreme Court opinions. OK They are still strange but he has a strange view of the world. I wonder what he thinks of the current unrest after the George Floyd killing, but I might be able to guess.
The author, Corey Robin, looks at Thomas’s writings and speeches on race, capitalism and politics. It will be interesting to see if Supreme Court scholars see the same threads in Thomas’s jurisprudence.
