A really lovely book about the life of a man and his cat. The story is told by the cat in such an endearing way I’d want to have a cat in my life again. It happens rarely but this book brought tears in my eyes at the time they had to say goodbye. The writing is beautiful and the story is not even one moment borig. I recommend it.

What a beautiful story, I loved this book! Satoru and his cat Nana road trip around Japan visiting Satoru's old friends. From the spunky point of view of the cat, and perspectives from the old friends we learn about satorus's past and personality. I smiled and cried through the whole thing.
