What Members Thought
After watching the movie I decided to go back to the book. I found the book much more enjoyable the second time through and think that this might be one of my favorites of all time :) I don't know what it is about the book, whether it be the action, the love stories, the look at human nature, or the idea of a society that could be so cruel to its children but the books absolutely catch my interest and keep me reading. A brilliant idea, cleverly written. Completely drew me in.
I was a little leary about reading this book at first, usually I'm not really into the fantasy and sci-fi genres. However, a couple chapters in it and I found a new favorite book, possibly my number one favorite. Lesson learned: give every book at least one chance.
