Fantastic!! However, do NOT finish this book half hour before you have to leave for work and after you've applied your make up. The characters were fantastic - I enjoyed that this was written, well, first from the perspective of Death, but that it was written by a young German girl trying to understand and sort out the confusion of Nazi Germany and the differences in opinion and/or having to cover it and look very supportive of Hitler. Beautifully written. The story is a lovely, descriptive one. It can move rather slowly at times, but the imagery is wonderful and rich.
