Definitely not what I was expecting but I loved this book. I've read it over and over again. It has such a unique way of telling a story, maybe not a story that is happy, but an amazing story. There isn't really much else to say without giving anything away but I recommend that everyone at least gives it a try.

Nice. An easy read. Worth reading. Not too sad, not too cheerful. Very short sentences and a strange beginning. After first 50 pages or so the story begins to flow more fluently. I do recommend, although I didn't find it exactly 'amazing'.
