Dense and tough for somebody who is not born and grown up in the U.S. I'm pretty sure I missed at last half of the cultural references but it was still funny, sometimes too much if you catch my drift, sometimes the author was going on and on for pages and in the end it was like a super stream of consciousness. Kind of like History of Seven Killings: fast, funny, loud, black, American, hilarious, teaches you stuff you never knew (the educational aspect is vastly reduced here - it's mainly, what it's like to live in america); but there is so much good sarcasm. I just fear i missed a lot because i'm white and foreign which it would've been good to learn
