I remember loving the beginning - the story of Daisy's birth and her mother's death and how her dad takes care of her. So sad and magical in a very real way.

Truthfully, I cannot like this novel that much. However, as I get closer & closer to the big four-oh, I can understand a little of the main character. Whilst this story is told from the protagonist’s birth to death, I felt that there wasn’t much on what she felt throughout her life or am I just confused?
