I went into this book thinking it wasn't going to be "my cup of tea"...and it really isn't, but that does not matter. This book was so sweet and sad at the same time and I can't really express myself properly, but oh boy was it beautiful.

Reading this book is like watching Wes Anderson's movie: it's funny, witty with loads of quirkiness. A Man Called Ove is one of those books that will leave you with good feeling once you finish the last pages.
Also, it would be nice to see someone develop this book into a movie; I see all the elements needed in order to create a good one. I couldn't help but read it with a soothing Freeman-ish voice all the way to the end of the story.

Once I realized that the author was intentionally overusing metaphors, I thoroughly enjoyed this book about a lonely man trying to adjust to living after the loss of his wife. This book was both humorous and tragic.
