What Members Thought
I don't know that I totally got this book, but I enjoyed it quite a bit regardless. The stream of consciousness type narrative kept me glued to the pages, eager to learn about the "important thing." The plot is chilling without ever revealing much in way of concrete details, but it didn't feel unsatisfying in any way. Did I understand what was actually happening between Amanda and David? Nope, but it was a fantastically creepy journey and I'm okay with it.

I can’t rate it yet, but suffice to say I read it in 90 minutes when I thought I was only going to read for ten minutes before breakfast. Gripping!
Count me in with the "what did I just read? club. Or at least, I missed something there at the end.

Intense, full of dread, and shadowy but poignant. Of course ecological horror and maternal horror run together and mix their metaphors. Of course. Brilliantly done.
This was boring from the beginning to the end. I didn't get it and there was seemingly no plot.
