What Members Thought
Great book. I read this when it first appeared and again a couple of years ago. Characters that resonate and are unforgettable. It seems to work for everyone, perhaps because it hits universal themes such as love for family and loyalty to your benefactors. I live in the greater NYC area and I'm of mixed Sicilian and Jewish parentage. I've always felt that this book espescially resonated with people from here like me, but that really doesn't seem to be the case. Everyone finds a way to identify.

Really enjoyed the added depth and appreciate the screenplay adaptation now.
