I went back and forth between the audiobook and the print book while reading this (alas, without the benefit of whispersync). Although this sounds like a book that would translate to audio format, since it's really one dude's story, it doesn't really, because nothing ever happens in the book and it's easy to get lost in the text when listening.

Mentre leggevo questo libro ho pensato che mi sembrava uno strano incrocio tra l'Ulisse di Joyce e Le Correzioni di Franzen, anche se ovviamente non c'entra niente con entrambi.
Herzog non ci sta tanto con la testa, il secondo divorzio l'ha parecchio stressato e lui scrive, scrive lettere a praticamente chiunque mentre ossessivamente rimugina sulla fine del suo secondo matrimonio e tutto quello che ne è derivato.
La scrittura non è brutta, ma a volte i salti sono veramente un po' troppo pindaric ...more
