This was my second read and I liked the book even more than the first time I read it. Wonderful view on how people with asperger observe things (as far as we know): funny, sweet and heartbreaking and well written. A must read for anyone who has someone with ASD (autism spectrum disorder) around.

I dunno.... Maybe I should stop reading books that people rave about, so I don't have such high expectations. I just found this dragged, was easy to put down (I read it in many short sessions), and it was just a bit blah. Everyone raved about how much better this was than Mark Haddon's next book, A Spot of Bother, but I think ASOB was far more interesting and a much better read. Maybe it depends on which one you read first.
