I read this book when I was in elementary school but I didn't fully remember it so I re-read it again and it was totally worth the time! This book is a well written novel about a man who risks everything for nothing (as money is not an object for him) but ends up winning a lot more than he could have ever imagined (love and happiness); which he consequently, cannot put a price tag on as he does with many things to get what he wants. I have to say that this book is very easy to read and because the shortness of the chapters a very quick read. It almost makes me want to learn French just so I can read it in its ...more

Every time I read this book I think that it is an even better read than the others. I noticed this time that it is quite the accomplishment considering that Jules Verne did not travel the route that Philieas Fogg traveled and was able to do all the research for not being able to access google etc...
