I was pissed off with this as soon as I started. Two words, constantly used throughout the book didn't make sense to me linguistically ( English words, with English meanings, being used by a character who was German, just didn't seem right ), and were so obviously manipulative that I didn't think it was necessary considering the story or the setting.
