I really loved this book. I thought the ending seemed a little rushed , or maybe author was just not comfortable about the ending.
This book was not about the ending, it was about a girls battle with severe anxiety , and there is no real ending for that so in many ways it is unimportant. John green does an amazing job showing the trues horrors one deals with when battling such a condition. Having a family member who deals with it, IMO he does a remarkable job portraying it.

This was a quick and easy read. An important book for anyone or anyone with family members who struggle with mental illness, especially conditions like anxiety, OCD, and eating disorders. The author does an excellent job of capturing the ruminating and intrusive thoughts that these conditions can bring. As well as portraying exactly how much these conditions infiltrate themselves into everyday life.

John Green doesn't write women very well. I actually didn't realise that Aza was a girl until nearly half way through the book. This book felt very familiar - his books all have a very similar style and feel. But the story was interesting and it's worth a quick read. ...more
