No black holes or AI, but as much speculative fiction as 2001: A Space Odyssey or Interstellar. If a different kind of existence was offered to us, would we take it? Some may take offense at its characters' ethnic and gender insensitivity, but historical context is everything (keep up the good work, PCers, and nothing will be written). Absorbing and unsettling. Intriguing narrative structure.
