Fahrenheit 451 in Reading with Style

A world with no books, only that would be hell. Fahrenheit 451 is my favorite futuristic dystopian novel so far and i did a lot of reading of this gende this year and i have to admit they are not my type. I don't like this pessimist theme, they radiate negativity, i'm trying to run away from a sad disturbing reality and ending up in a much worse one so the whole point of books are my getaway are kind of ruined but anyway at least i have books to keep me company not like Montag here.

Guy Montag is a fireman. he burns books for living ( you can notice how the job is different in this world where now they don't put out fires, they start them along with anyone who dares to read or own a book) because books are forbidden, they spread knowledge and individual thinking which leads to unhappiness in this "world" he lives in. Montag starts questioning his life choices after he meets his 17 years old neighbor Clarisse McClellan, who opens his eyes to the emptiness of his life and the world he lives in with her questions and her unusual love of people and nature. Over the next few days, Montag experiences a series of disturbing events, his wife tries to kill herself, then the most important of all where he heads for his daily job and witness a woman choosing to be burnt alive along with her books, he starts questing his job, the system, why everyone is so afraid of books. after the tragic death of Clarisse, he starts losing his hold on things, his curiosity is too strong to ignore, he gets confused and angry, he acts without thinking or planning, i sympathized with him and his mission to save the world, enlightening them with questioning everything, starting with wife Mildred, where he convinces her to go through stacks of books, trying to find answers and imagine what the world was like. which ends tragically because his wife doesn't want to be changed, she's quite happy with her life. so you join Montag and his mission of understanding the world and himself. my favorite part besides the ending was when Montag ran away from the city after murdering his fire department captain and few firemen, he meets a group of people who all ran away from the city when he asks them how are they maintaining the books Granger (chef of the group) tells him they memorized them.
The plot of the book is amazing, and what i enjoyed the most was the ending, unlike Orwell's 1984 or Huxley's Brave New World, the book leaves you with a sense of hope and a world that might change for better. ...more

Easily one of the best books I've read in my life!!!
It had been a long time since I'd last felt a book with all my senses.
