A great story leading to excellent due to the wonderful narration by Morven Christie.
Such a great book, but heart-wrenching. The writing was spectacular. I listened to this in audiobook format and sometimes I had to rewind the story just to hear a beautiful turn of phrase again. Based on a true story about the last person put to death in Iceland.

Beautiful book, the story of the last woman executed in Iceland is fascinating and well-written, unfortunately however it's very slow, so much so that sometimes I fell asleep while I was reading.
