It got great reviews, but I'm finding it so very dull. I don't like the way the bland, repetitive exposition is handled. Or the chronology, which tells you everything that's going to happen up front...and then makes you read through it all again in real-time. Or the complete lack of tension in the mystery. Or the characters I can't bring myself to care about. Or the way the graphic murders are minutely described in gratuitous detail that adds nothing to the story. Recycles all the usual wwii tro
