After all the publicity and acclaim that I've heard about this supposedly life-altering book I thought...what the hell...let me give this a try. Essentially these are some of the emotions I expected to have upon reading these pages...

Really enjoyed this book. Finished it in about 6 hours. However, I felt the "intelluctualist nature" of the characters was a bit overdone. I mean how many times can you mention existentialism in a novel about 17 years olds? This was a bit distracting to me and the only reason for not giving it a five star rating. ...more
