Review to come. Currently in broken-sobbing-and-eating-everything-in-the-pantry stage.

Whatt?! my review deleted. Damn you.

Updated review: I'm writing this while my boyfriend is talking to his doctor. He has cancer himself and when a doctor wants to talk to you, you know something terrible is about to be revealed. This crazy, nervous, terrible feeling in the pit of my stomach won't cease, so I figured writing a review might distract me a bit. For obvious reasons, this book deeply touched me while

I really enjoyed this book. I found out about this book last year. I didn't know much about it. I loved how the book was about two teenagers going through the same diagnosis of cancer and how they lived for today and fell in love. I really felt they loved each other. what a great book. this is the sort of book that i wish more teen readers - i'd say it's good for sort of 14/15ish and up, there's a (view spoiler) so...that's to be a consideration - (and adults who prefer YA) would pick-up and read...rather than so much of that other stuff passing for literature in the YA segment of the market. this book elevates the genre.

green has created some wonderful characters and a great story. difficult, yes. but life is difficul

This book doesn't really need any extra publicity. It's one of the most loved books from last year and after finishing it, I could see why. I didn't love it as much, but I definitely would highly recommend this book for this reason - despite being about cancer, there is so much strength, humor, power of the human spirit and most importantly, genuine people in this book. Cancer is no stranger in my family and it's still not a word we would utter carelessly or unfeelingly around here. I don't know ...more

While I do think the two protagonist's; Hazel and Augustus are rather precocious, the story was just so good that I can't let my minor twinges about wondering if teenager's really talked that way get in the way of my 5 star rating.

The book kept me riveted from beginning to end. I listened to the audiobook, and the narrator was terrific. Yes, a tear hung in the balance as the last paragraph wound down. But it wasn't gratuitous.

Great book giving insight to what it's like to be a teenager battling
