While I do think the two protagonist's; Hazel and Augustus are rather precocious, the story was just so good that I can't let my minor twinges about wondering if teenager's really talked that way get in the way of my 5 star rating.
The book kept me riveted from beginning to end. I listened to the audiobook, and the narrator was terrific. Yes, a tear hung in the balance as the last paragraph wound down. But it wasn't gratuitous.

Such a sad book, but so very very sad! It is written from a perspective of a girl who is living with cancer. She meets a boy who is in remission and their relationship. It is very moving.
