Gentle readers it was with great trepidation that I began this book. Alexia, at the end of Changeless, was reeling from the untrue assertion made by her husband, Conall Maccon, concerning her pregnancy. He believed her to have betrayed him and his pejorative name calling of Alexia was unforgivable. At least without abject apologies and groveling. Possibly even gifts of Art, Jewellery and hand-written abject apologies which include his stupidity, his lack of cognitive skills. You get the picture.

Once again, Gail Carriger has created a fantastic book! I loved all the little comments about Italy and pesto and garlic. Blameless has all the wit and humor of the first two books. I can't wait to read the next one!
