Right off the bat I have to admit that I did not enjoy this book as much as the first two and I know why...I missed the interplay, the banter, the relationship between Alexia and Conall. Without it, the book fell flat. The other glaring missing piece - Lord Akeldama. He is a wonderful character yet he is barely in the book at all. Wonderful and witty. I adore the snarky humor and PESTO! I devoured this book in one go and eagerly await the next one.
