It wasn't too bad, but I was a bit disappointed with the ending of things or else I would've given it 4 stars. Moriarty's books are pretty quick to read and her writing flows easily. I liked the characters and how their lives intersected as each dealt with their own problems. But, like I said, I was disappointed with how everything ended - hence the 3 star rating.

I really loved Big Little Lies, so I was super keen to pick up some more books from this author!
This started slow for me. It felt a bit all over the place and I couldn't find solid ground to propel me into the story. But once all the characters were introduced then it started to make more sense.
I did enjoy this, but I didn't find the characters as loveable or as interesting as in Big Little Lies.
Marriage problems? Something to do with the kids? Rachel reme ...more

I could not put this down. I think it helped that my co-worker said he hated the book because the secret was SO awful so I was really expecting the worst possible secret... Then when the terrible secret did come out it didn't seem QUITE as bad. Really good read, IMO.

Definitely not as good as I thought it'd be. Everyone said it was so good but it didn't do it for me.
