After reading my first Liane Moriarty novel, Big Little Lies, I knew that I needed to read more from this author. And, luckily, I picked an ecopy of this book on sale and could not put it down!

I disliked so many things about this book. So many tropes and cliches and an obnoxious close 3rd person perspective. It was so tight and limiting that the story could barely breathe and it felt so much like 1st person that when she had to use the POV character’s name it was jarring and made you think they were talking about someone else in the room.
And the secret? Disappointingly obvious. Tired.
