Creepy fantasy about a girl who must rescue her family from a mysterious spider-woman living in an alternate reality inside her house. Excellent!
Wonderfully creepy, the descriptions of the other mother make my skin crawl. somehow, this book is scarier than some of the horror I've read, yet it's a children's book! Thouroughly awesome.

Technically a young adult book but still an incredible story.
I don't know what it was about this book but I didn't really like it. I think it was the way it was read that turned me off ( I listened to it on CD). The story was sweet and I probably would have liked it more if I had just read it.

I feel like this was more of 2.5 stars than a straight up 3. It was a good story with an interesting premise but it was just so freaking weird. And there were bugs and that squicked me out.
