Haven't finished this one yet but it already gets 5 stars for Flynn's uncanny ability to capture a sometimes unpleasant, yet profoundly sympathetic, character in the person of Libby Day. I must say that I enjoy Ms. Flynn's style of writing. I enjoy being taken from the present to the past to figure out the mystery.
While this tale was not quite as exciting as Gone Girl, it still held my interest and kept me guessing until the very end. If you like a mystery that keeps you saying, "Oh, he did it!" then "No she did it" you will enjoy Dark Places. ...more
