Oh love triangle, how I loathe you. I wish you would die a fiery death and never return. Your insistence on showing up in just about every YA novel is more than a bit annoying. You're like that unwanted houseguest who never leaves, just sits on the sofa in his underwear, eating Cheetos and wiping his cheesy hands all over everything.

Clockwork prince corrected the quibble I had with the first book (that nothing much happened.). In this book we finally get real plot, and considerably less exposition. I continue to love all the characters. They seem real, with motivations that are consistent with their back stories. And speaking of back stories, will finally gets one. And his story managed to make me forgive his poor behavior.

I was a bit worried at first, but after seeing a bunch of emotions everyone on tumblr that I felt it was going to be really good. I was not disappointed at all and the crazy love triangle left my emotions running all over the place. I have to say, this sequel is definitely worth the read.

I love these books but the love triangle is killing me! I read these slightly out of order so I know it ends up getting worked out but still. The angst! Anyway, will be onto book three as soon as I can get to the library.
