I liked this one more than I thought I would. The world isn't very fleshed out, and most of the story takes place inside a mansion. There aren't very many characters either. It's all very enclosed, which could have potentially made the story boring. But it wasn't. I was very interested to know what would happen, and will go on to read the next book in the series. ...more

a dystopian that is very easy to jump right in to.

I thought the idea was interesting - that the cure for cancer caused a horrible counter reaction and now each new generation dies before the girls turn 21 and the boys before 26.

and young girls are horribly stolen and forced into polygamous weddings and to bear more children as scientist desperately hunt for a new cure.

In walks Rhine, stolen from her twin brother Rowan, she is forced into a marriage with 2 other women. this is her story.

I liked it, for the most part. Not sure whether I'm that interested in the sequel, while I'd quite like to see Rowan find out Rhine is alive, I'm not sure it needs a whole book. We'll see. ...more
