I didn't expect to like it very much, but it actually wasn't too bad in terms of entertainment factor. I enjoyed reading it and speculating about the kind of world that would need teen procreation to prevent the extinction of the human race.

I believe that there are many scientific flaws in the story, but the premise is interesting enough that I was able to ignore them and just enjoy the story for what it was.

First impressions: I love the language in this book. Right away, Megan McCafferty sets us up in a new time with new slang. Personally, I tend to say "for serious" a LOT in real life, so it tickled me every time I saw it here. McCafferty does a great job of grounding us in this alternate time so we feel comfortable right away.

Interesting premise, future slang was for seriously annoying at the beginning, but settled down abit by the end of the book, though the book was too relentlessly teen the whole way through.
