Although I did end up liking this one more than the first book, it's still kind of "start, read, finish, repeat" as far as hooking me in goes. It's just....nothing so far, to me, makes this book or series stand out above the other piles and piles around me. The characters are just okay to me - Rose goes from driving me crazy (I don't care how hot you are - can you stop telling me?!) to being tolerable. I really appreciate at the beginning of the book how they recap everything we just learned in the previous books. Why don't more YA books do this?
This book wasn't bad and was a nice continuation of the story. There were some more eye-rolling romantic moments, but not too many. And it set the stage nicely for the third book without ending on a cliff hanger. ...more
