When Cassie Andrews has a bookstore patron die during her shift, a book left behind changes her life in mysterious ways.
One part science fiction/fantasy, one part adventure story, and all exciting, this novel takes the reader on a wild ride along with Cassie. This book sucked me in from the first page and I couldn't put it down. A fantasy story about books and time travel. Yes!!
I loved the fantasy aspect of this story. Magical books where some are good and some are evil. Then you have good and evil people using them. What I loved is how the author just portrayed the love for books throughout the story.
The time travel was fun. I loved how everything was weaved together and most questions that I had throughout the book was answered.
I absolutely loved ...more

If a magical book could grant you any power, what would you choose? Perhaps the ability to heal, or to bring joy to others. The power to protect the innocent or to inspire change. With such a gift, one could do so much good in the world. The possibilities are endless, limited only by your imagination and the strength of your character. What power would you wield, and how would you use it to make the world a better place? Or would you descend into evil?
