Not an easy book to read but a beautiful book to read.

Shelves: fiction, 2025-finished

I usually love anything written by Fredrik Backman, but this book I wasn't that thrilled with.
Maybe I didn't resonate with the characters or feel an appeal for any of them.

What I did enjoy about this book is the message about just how deep friendship goes.

Wow! Another winner from Fredrick Backman. I literally could not stop reading it. His characters are all unique with their own stories. Had to keep going to see what happened next in their lives. Now AND Then!

Shelves: modern-and-noteworthy, feel-good

I listened to this on audio, and boy do I feel like my heart is going to explode. I just want to be friends with these people to take the teenage versions of these children and wrap them in a great big hug. This is a story about broken humans who through friendship and art get a little less broken. It is simply beautiful.
