As always, Backman hits the mark with another exceptional gift to readers! I love his writing and all the different journeys he takes a reader on. Wonderful assortment of characters are always a delightful addition as well.

Based on the reviews I've seen posted, I am definitely the outlier here...but I think this was actually my least favorite Fredrik Backman book. :(

This hits themes of belonging, abuse, love, found family, and has some very touching moments, particularly at the end. That said, I really felt like it dragged, and I couldn't connect with the characters. The main thing for me is that Louisa reads as much younger than 18 and Ted reads as much older than 39. I had to remind myself of their ages becaus ...more

Wow! Another winner from Fredrick Backman. I literally could not stop reading it. His characters are all unique with their own stories. Had to keep going to see what happened next in their lives. Now AND Then!
