This series really surprised me. I'd say a 4.5.
Kaylee is a bean sidhe and she can sense when someone around her is going to die. She also can't really help the fact that she screams when it happens. She can't stop or speak until after the person is dead.
It's interesting to see her going from thinking she was losing her mind to learning who and what she really was.
It was a nice break from the faeries, vampires, werewolves, etc that are so prevalent in ya literature (an ...more

I really enjoyed this story. It was a nice break from normal ya fantasy. A book about banshees?! Come on! How more original can you get?! The romance between Kaylee and Nash was slightly obnoxious in the beginning. Also, most of the 'surprises' were obvious. (Expect for one big one)
