I loved this book!!! I wasn't going to pick it up and I'm so happy I did.

I was invested in every single character of this book. Lucy and her problems you felt. Jack and his hardship made me tear up and that never happens. I was routing so hard for Lucy and Christopher. I wanted so happy the way the book ended too. It was sweet, it was touching and it was AMAZING! ...more

OMG I loved this book so much. Beautiful writing, beautiful story, wonderful characters. I will remember this one for a long time. Oh how I wish the Clock Island books were real!

This was a super sweet premise. A famous children’s book writer hosts some now adult children who had sent him special wishes for a contest. I love the idea. The execution, however, was a bit too sappy/Hallmark like for my taste. There isn’t enough development of characters and the game is glossed over and overly simple.
