Re-read this for a book discussion with my Soulfinders reading group on Facebook! I was pleasantly surprised by how well written it is. It was my first attempt to write a novel. It took me 3 years and I learned a lot while writing it. There's some rookie mistakes, but not too embarrassing overall. The groups going to do Magic Study next.

Poison Study just came out in Turkish as Zehir Ustasi (Poison Master)! Pretty cool - eh?
Another book I heard about through goodreads -- and I really enjoyed it. It's listed as a Young Adult book, but it's definitely for grown ups, too. Yelena is a teenager who suffered at the hands of a sadistic family. When she finally kills one of her torturers, she's sentenced to die for the crime. Excellent book with plenty of mystery, suspense, and lots of unexpected twists. Yelena is a fiesty heroine who refuses to let her bad luck rule her life. The book also raises plenty of questions about peoples' morals or lack thereof. A hard to put down read.
