So why did it take me this long to read this book??? I have had it for ages in my cubes.

. This book got mixed reviews from my GoodReads friends, but I was totally a fan. It bogged down a bit when Yelena's learning and training, but I enjoyed her making friends and it takes lots of hard work to learn self-defense. Also her poison training was interesting, but I would much rather do a lab test than a taste test.

Re-read - the first one, I did over 10 years ago. It was good revisiting this book and I liked it as much this time as the last. Now I'm familiar with the story again and ready to continue on in the series!
