What Members Thought
I have picked up and not finished a lot of romances of late, so hoping for a winner with this one.
I didn’t love the writing style. It was a little overly simple. I struggled to connect with the characters and their emotions. And it was just... slow and a little boring. But this book has so many good reviews and is so popular, so I pressed on.
I got about eight chapters in and gave up. The dialogue is way too stilted for me, I think. Maybe I’ll give it another go one day.
