I love the premise but the tale didn't quite rise to the occasion. It is easy to read & fairly entertaining but it just didn't pull me in, I suppose I was misled by some of the hype. It is good but it should be fabulous.

Clearly Deanna Raybourn's publisher decided to cash in on the success of Richard Osman's Thursday Murder Club series and the demand for mystery/adventure books featuring the more mature amongst us.
